CONMED's ECG Backpads are unique one-piece disposable monitoring systems that minimize patient set-up time, prevent leadwires from tangling, and reduce the risk of cross contamination or hospital acquired infections (HAI).
A dense, low profile foam substrate conforms to the patient’s skin while reducing fluid absorption. The foam substrate is coated with an acrylic adhesive that keeps the ECG Backpad in place, even when it is exposed to OR prep solutions.Four radiolucent electrode sensors (representing the four limb leads) are embedded within the foam and coated with silver/silver chloride for maximum signal performance. The sensors are covered with a conductive adhesive hydrogel to ensure quick signal retention.
A low profile, 28” bonded leadwire system is pre-attached to the electrode array. The leadwire system terminates to a durable, one-piece molex style connector that is compatible only with CONMED ECG Backpad Cables.
To minimize patient set-up time and prevent leadwire tangling, ECG Strippers incorporate wet gel foam electrodes with a one piece pre-attached leadwire system. Closed cell foam electrodes keeps fluids from penetrating, while the wet gel formula provides quick ECG signal retention. A pull tab makes it easy to apply and remove electrode. They feature a ”strippable“ leadwire construction so each leadwire can be “stripped” to desired length.
